Join 300 Central Illinois ladies and gather for Champaign’s Second Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon Event.  This American Heart Association fundraiser inspires, educates, and moves women to love their hearts. We are excited to have actress and Champaign County native,  Jennie Garth in attendance and as the passion speaker.  Reserve your spot now...we have just under 300 attendees already and will sell out in just a few days!!

Event includes: Break-out Sessions, Expo, Pursonalities" Silent Auction, Heart-Healthy Lunch, Lady in Red Fashion show from Bella Mia and Macy's, Passion Speaker, Open Your Heart appeal, Survivor Spotlight, and "Ask the Expert" medical panel.

10:20 - 10:40 - We will have computer workstations setup for you to take a free Life Simple 7 health risk assessment. After your assessment is finished, we will have program booklets available for the Go Red Better U 12 week program. Now's a perfect time to kickoff this 12 week program!

Michael Neuwirth, MD at Carle specializing in Radiology and Medical Imaging, Interventional Radiology will be speaking about

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). PAD is associated with heart disease in 40-60% of people and actually predates heart disease by as much as 3 years. People with PAD are 4-6 times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke.

 
11:25-11:45 - Hope Danielson, Health and Wellness Advisor with Niemann Foods (County Market) will be hosting an interactive session with ideas and tips for making heart-healthy food swaps. Yes, there will be samples!!
