2011 Go Red for Women Luncheon Break-out Sessions have been announced!

You won't want to miss the break-out sessions. Attendance is included in the cost of your ticket, so plan to attend one or all of them!

10:45 - 11:15 - Dr. Michael Neuwirth from Carle will be speaking about
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and Uterine fibroid embolization. PAD is associated with heart disease in 40-60% of people and actually predates heart disease by as much as 3 years. People with PAD are 4-6 times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke. These are just a few of the important points Dr. Neuwirth will be sharing.

11:20-11:40 - Hope Danielson, Health and Wellness Advisor with Niemann Foods (County Market) will be hosting an interactive session with ideas and tips for making heart-healthy food swaps. Yes, there will be samples!!
