Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $51 million nation-wide allowing us to fund over $123 million of research and programs across the country, including $1.5 million right here in Champaign-Urbana at the University of Illinois.
Locally in 2013, the Champaign Heart & Stroke Ball will celebrate its 13th anniversary! Over the years, we’ve promoted the AHA’s mission on a local level in Central Illinois, and thanks to our donors’ support, we’ve seen inspiring advances in the fight against heart- and stroke-related illnesses. But this year, we won’t just inspire change. We’ll ignite it!
