Take your seat at the table. Join other outstanding and dedicated women and men at the inaugural Champaign Go Red for Women luncheon event. Enjoy a heart-healthy lunch, see the latest red fashions for the summer, hear passionate stories in the survivor spotlight, empower yourself with expert advice, and listen as we Speak Up loudly to share in the commitment to fight the No. 1 killer of women. Be a part of this extraordinary day.
The event will feature Elizabeth Hein, an active, healthy Illinois woman who suffered a heart attack at age 27 after months of misdiagnosis and lost her mother nine years later in 2005 under the same circumstances. She is an inspiring speaker whose story has been featured on The Today Show and in the Chicago Tribune. Elizabeth is the director of the Palmer House-Hilton in Chicago and travels the country sharing her story of personal survival and loss. Ladies will be empowered to take their health into their own hands after hearing Elizabeth's motivational comments!
